ParentSquare brings school, classroom, and district communication together in one convenient place for Rochester Community Schools families.
School communications are sent automatically.
Families receive school announcements, classroom updates, reminders,
emergency messages, and direct communication from staff using the contact
information already on file in ParentVUE.

Important to Know
ParentSquare and ParentVUE work together
- You will receive ParentSquare communications even if you never create an account.
- Your email address and phone number come from the information on file in ParentVUE.
- Contact information cannot be edited directly in ParentSquare.
- Update contact information in ParentVUE and allow up to 24 hours for the change to appear in ParentSquare.
- Access ParentSquare when you want to change notification preferences, select a preferred language, or manage messages.

Getting Started
Access ParentSquare in a few simple steps
Open ParentSquare
Select the Access ParentSquare button and use the email address or phone number associated with your student’s school record.
Create or Access Your Account
Follow the on-screen directions to access your account. Creating an account is optional and does not affect whether you receive school communications; however, we do recommend creating an account for the best user experience.
Set Your Preferences
Choose your preferred language, decide whether you want messages instantly or in a daily digest, and manage communication preferences.
Use the Mobile App
Keep school communication close at hand
The ParentSquare app is optional, but it can make it easier to read messages, respond to staff, and manage notifications from your phone.
Need Help?
Contact information must be updated in ParentVUE
ParentSquare uses the email addresses and phone numbers listed in ParentVUE. Families cannot edit this contact information directly in ParentSquare.
To make a change, update your information in ParentVUE and allow up to 24 hours for the update to appear in ParentSquare.
