Volunteer Information

Thank you for sharing your time and talents with Rochester Community Schools. Our volunteers help create positive, welcoming, and meaningful experiences for students.

Before You Volunteer

All parents, caregivers, and community members who volunteer in a role that involves working with students must complete an ICHAT Authorization Form. ICHAT is the Michigan State Police Internet Criminal History Access Tool.

A new authorization form must be submitted each school year before volunteering in classrooms, student clubs, athletics, field trips, overnight trips, or other school-sponsored activities involving students.

Please complete the required form or packet before beginning your volunteer assignment. Additional information may be requested depending on the type of volunteer role.
